There's no place like home, there's no place like home, there's no place like home!

There's something about going back home that soothes the soul. For myself, going back home means going back to Duval County, or affectionately Duuuuvvalll!!! Held at Queen's Harbour Yacht & Country Club (Jacksonville, FL),  Brunch With Us was an intimate unveiling of Sore Thumb Publishing and my debut picture book entitled, Do It For Me, Please: A Book For Parents Because Baby Knows Best.

This event included everything; from family and friends, to laughter and crying, and not to mention there were a few toddlers running around. Oh! and might I add those were the best grits I've ever tasted! Even in the midst of COVID, my people "showed-up and showed-out". So, I must thank those who attended despite the ninth-hour invites, despite the health concerns, despite the travel, and despite the fact that it was a holiday!
